Rose_Ding_China_corrothermWe have opened another new office: this time in the industrial port city of Dalian, situated in Liaoning province of North East China. It’s our fifth new office in twelve months!

In June, we publicised the opening of our regional head office in Perth, Australia, through which we will expand our service in the Asia-Pacific market - the China operation is part of this expansion.

With a focus on business development, the Dalian office will build on our existing client base in the country, and will be supported by the Perth regional head office, who will oversee all project contracts and logistical requirements.

The Asia-Pacific region is our biggest growing market, and having an office in China will enable us provide a more comprehensive and personalised service to customers in the area, while maximising opportunities for expansion in country.

Our new office means we have a new Country Manager: Rose Ding.

Rose has specialist knowledge of chemicalmineral, and urea industries, and extensive knowledge of our main Alloy stock grades of C276 and the 200400600 and 800 series of materials. This will be of great benefit to Corrotherm’s clients in China, when they are buying from our portfolio of material grades and products.

Her degree in International Economy and Trade, and overseas industry experience will also be extremely important as we develop further into Chinese and regional markets.

Our MD for the Asia Pacific region, Martyn Nuttall says, “Having a local presence in a country where we operate is of enormous benefit, especially when it means we can respond quickly and effectively to clients in their own language, and with first-hand experience of their area and local industry.”

“We are really pleased to have Rose on our team and heading up our China office. This is an exciting time for Corrotherm and with so much work to do, it good to know our clients are in safe hands.”

Rose is happy too. “I am looking forward to helping our customers and responding quickly to their needs. They are welcome to contact me directly with their enquiries.”
