Corrotherm acquires Exova BM TRADA accreditations
The technically superior nickel alloys that Corrotherm supplies are used by our customers in some of the most extreme environments and industrial situations. As such, it’s important to know that we work to the very highest standards – the proof is in our latest accreditations and newly updated certifications.

As a company, Corrotherm settles for nothing less than the very best and that goes for our high standards too. We continually work to ensure our practices conform to the most rigorous industry standards to give our customers peace of mind when they choose to work with us.

Recently, Corrotherm has completed its external management system audits with Exova BM TRADA (www.exovabmtrada.com/en-gb). Exova BM TRADA is the dedicated certification division of the Exova Group and provides independent, accredited certification. Exova BM TRADA is accredited itself by UKAS and has been providing certification for over 30 years, so it’s a name you can trust.

Updated certifications

By working closely with Exova BM TRADA, Corrotherm has successfully completed its transition from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2004 to ISO14001:2015, bringing us completely up to date with the latest standards. We are accredited by Exova BM TRADA, meeting the requirements of these comprehensive certifications. These certifications highlight our commitment to quality, environment, and health and safety management systems.

At Corrotherm we believe in corporate responsibility and the discipline of an effective system, as well as good business management to adopt relevant standards. As a result of our recent audit with Exova BM TRADA, we have implemented a Business Assurance Management Systems (BAMS) policy. This new policy meets the requirements of the aforementioned ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015, as well as OHSAS18001:2007.

What it means

The three key standards that we comply with cover all different areas of our business, so you know that products supplied by Corrotherm will meet the high standards throughout the entire process from procurement to end customer.

ISO9001:2015, for example, proves that we meet our own internal standards for quality, as well as complying with international standards. It highlights a commitment to best practice, customer satisfaction and efficiency. It means that we can deliver a consistent and reliable service to our clients, which is why many businesses come back to us every time they need to source superior nickel alloy products.

As a multinational business, one of our big concerns is ensuring that we are as environmentally responsible as possible. This means prioritising sustainability through our practices and limiting our impact on the environment as much as is possible. ISO14001:2015 is a universal standard across many business sectors and is a requirement for trade. Having this important certification shows that we comply with all current legislation and regulations, improve our efficiency and productivity to reduce costs, and have a clear framework for continuing improvement and monitoring.

We also look after our own staff, taking issues of health and safety incredible seriously. The OHSAS18001:2007 certification is testament to the value we place on employee wellbeing and providing a safe working environment for everyone.
