ISO-certification-1

When specifying materials that will be used in some of the most challenging, corrosive and inhospitable environments known to man, it is essential to know that your supplier works to the highest internationally recognised standards available - and for Corrotherm International's customers, our recent work on ISO re-certification means that this is a given.

Three of the international standards that provide crucial reassurance for Corrotherm International’s clients were recently assessed by SGS, a world leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company based in the UK. Consequently we are delighted to announce that we received very positive comments and are in the process of being recertified for another three years.

These three key international standards are ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. Each standard provides a different area of certification for the procurement, stock holding and supply of heat and corrosion resistant materials, covering quality management, environment management and occupational health and safety.

For our clients, the ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 standards demonstrate that we comply with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to the manufacture and supply of our products. Certification also shows that we work closely with both customer and supplier to establish the highest quality end product that is thoroughly and independently tested to the highest standards in the industry.

Needless to say, a key part of our re-certification assessment was a thorough re-testing of our integrated management system, which exceeds the quality, environmental and health and safety management requirements of the ISO standards.

Quality is essential to ensuring that the products and services that we supply, along with our dedication to providing our customers with everything they need.

Regardless of whether we are supplying a stock item (see: Stock alloy grades), or a bespoke solution for a unique application, each order is processed through our integrated management system with an exceptionally high level of care and attention.

Ian Newman, Managing Director, said: “A company like Corrotherm International could not survive without a fully integrated management system. Automated workflow processes ensure that information and documentation is passed between our departments effortlessly. The system keeps each member of the project management team informed of where the order is at precise timing points, allowing us to deliver an extremely high level of service. The ISO re-certification shows that our system is robust, efficient and effective - and it allows us to deliver the service levels our customers expect from us.”
