Corrotherm International offers a full range seamless pipes for specialist applications, with a comprehensive stockholding for fast delivery. Our team has extensive experience in the supply of nickel alloy, duplex and super duplex seamless pipe to a wide range of industries.
Whether you have a requirement for a short length of seamless alloy tube or a much larger regular supply, Corrotherm has the expertise, stockholding and supplier relationships to manage your seamless pipe supply.
One of the key advantages of seamless alloy pipes is their increased ability to withstand pressure. The weakest point in a welded pipe is the welded seam. Because a seamless steel tube does not have a welded seam, it is equally strong around the entire circumference of the pipe.
Although seamless pipe can be more expensive than the equivalent welded pipe, this increased ability to withstand pressure can allow thinner and lighter pipes to be used in certain applications.
Similar to the benefit of increased pressure ratings, seamless pipe offers increased corrosion resistance when compared to welded pipe, due to the lack of a welded seam. Many of the seamless pipes we supply are in specific alloys used in highly corrosive environments.
Seamless pipe is a continuous extrusion of alloy, meaning that it will have an incredibly accurate round cross section, when compared with welded seam pipe.

Seamless pipe is a pipe without a seam or weld-joint. The pipe is extruded, under head, from a solid round 'billet'. It is then finished to dimensional and wall thickness specifications to meet specific international standards.
In comparison, welded pipe is wrapped around another form prior to welding, and then has heat and other variables added in the forming processes, meaning it can never achieve as accurate a round cross section as seamless steel pipe.
Pipe failures under load or in extreme environments usually occur at the welded seam. As seamless pipe doesn't have that seam, it isn't subject to those failures. Making it a much better choice for use in demanding environments achieving higher strength under load and in extreme applications.
We specialise in stocking and supplying seamless pipe in specialist nickel alloys, titanium alloys, duplex and super duplex materials. Common alloys that we stock include:
