It’s almost time for the EIC Connect Energy 2015 event in Manchester (24th-25th November), which is an important date in the diary for the Corrotherm team.

The event consists of a conference and exhibition, looking at the latest projects, products and solutions in the conventional, nuclear and renewable energy industries. It is a great opportunity for businesses to interact and showcase what they can offer, making it two days not to be missed.

Corrotherm’s CEO Jan Ward will be attending the notable event to find out what new products and services will be hitting the industry in the next couple of years, ensuring that we stay on top of current trends. In particular, given the challenging times that the industry is facing as a whole, we are looking forward to hearing what the experts’ thoughts are on the way forward for the sector.

This topic will be covered in the conference portion of EIC Connect. This consists of a series of talks on the outlook of the three key energy sources over the next five years – Renewables, Conventional and Nuclear – each lasting 90 minutes, with numerous notable speakers. The two-day conference talks will conclude with a live debate on energy sector skills, crucial to delivering the solutions needed. As well as these essential seminars, there are also smaller briefings from individual suppliers, industry tasters looking in detail at the fundamentals of the industry and the chance to meet one-on-one with representatives of some of the biggest companies in the industry.

For 2015, the main focus of the event is looking at how suppliers can provide new and innovative technologies, as well as save costs across the board. This focus will be clear through the large trade-floor exhibition, which sits alongside the packed conference schedule, giving exhibitors the chance to present and showcase those technologies and products that will help to drive the industry into the future.

EIC Connect Energy 2015 is part of a series of international conferences and exhibitions, with a solid history of bringing together the big players to help shape the future of energy. A typical event will attract up to 800 SME business owners, sales engineers and project managers, and give them the chance to interact with the big companies through the briefings and covetable one-on-one appointments.

The last UK-based event was the EIC Connect Oil and Gas 2014, which took place in November last year. This proved a popular venture and is set to return in 2016. The lineup is completed by the EIC Connect Middle East event in Abu Dhabi, which is also due to return in May 2016, after a successful 2015 event back in June, at which our Middle East sales manager Sayeed Junied spent some useful time.
