The main purpose of the high alloy materials is to save money by providing a longer life and consequently lower maintenance costs in plants where there is a high level of corrosion or high temperature processes. In light of this modern material selection process the extensive range of materials that Special Metals have developed ensures that there is a "tailor made" solution for all applications.
Our products cover an extensive range of alloys and material forms used in many industrial applications. It is our aim to provide a full range of products in all alloys by our ability to manufacture fittings and flanges from stock pipes, bars and plates for requirements where the quantity or size is not within the normal manufacturing range of the mill.
We are able to manufacture pipe sizes not within the mill range from bar for seamless and plate for welded applications along with the fittings and flanges in the required size.
All products are manufactured in accordance with international standard to ASTM/ASME, DIN, AFNOR and JIS. This makes it possible for us to ensure that an equivalent specification is available for difficult, rare or discontinued material grades.
