NIMONIC® alloy 263 is an intermediate strength alloy which is suitable for complex sheet forming operations and welding to create combustion chambers and hot gas ducting on many gas turbine engines designed in the UK. The alloy has also been adopted by some industrial gas turbine designers as an alternative to INCONEL® alloy HX (UNS N06002) for gas duct frames and combustion liners.
