The team at Corrotherm is committed to maintaining our high standards and we have recently switched to new Exova accreditations in three key areas to reinforce this ethos.

At Corrotherm, we continually strive to work to an exceptionally high standard and take our responsibilities very seriously. We recently made the decision to switch three of our key existing Integrated Management System (IMS) accreditations to Exova BM TRADA.

Exova BM TRADA is the dedicated certification division of the Exova Group, and it incorporates the former leading global certification body BM TRADA Certification Ltd – which means that its standards are well recognised and respected throughout our industry. The UK-based company boasts over 90 years’ experience and it works with around 25,000 customers worldwide to recognise excellent standards in business.

Having our accreditations presented by such a notable company means that we are confident in our processes, and it’s imperative that our customers are too. These standards are important, as they show that our systems, processes and products conform to a set of defined standards.

We have switched to Exova for three standards that together demonstrate the emphasis that we put on maintaining high standards throughout our business.

First is ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. This essential standard gives proof that we not only meet our own internal high standards for quality, but that we also comply with international standards based on eight quality-management principles. It is important to us that our customers know that we prize quality and efficiency.

We also have the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, which exhibits out commitment to the environment. Being environmentally conscious is something that we think all responsible businesses should be and we are always looking at ways to lessen our impact on the Earth – including the launch of our own Sustrans sustainable transport policy earlier in the year. The ISO 14001 shows that we are dedicated to continual improvement and compliance with legislation. Having this accreditation in place also means that we can remain competitive, as the standard is a requirement for many business opportunities in this sector.

Finally, we have the BS OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management Systems. In order to meet this standard, we have to have a solid management system that goes above and beyond the minimum legal requirements for health and safety in the workplace, ensuring that we identify and minimise risks. Our team members are absolutely key to Corrotherm, and as such we actively promote employee wellbeing and part of that is ensuring a safe working environment.

We’re very proud to have these three accreditations from a well-regarded company and will continue to work towards maintaining and improving our already high standards in the future.
