Marine engineering
Our in-house team’s matchless experience and expertise ensure we’re right at the heart of the latest advances in alloy development and performance.
Comprehensive range
INCONEL®, INCOLOY® and MONEL® alloy products are used for their high resistance to corrosion in offshore platforms and power and process plants that use seawater as coolant.
Alloys at work
MONEL alloy 400® is resistant to bio-fouling and microbially induced corrosion (MIC) making it a cost effective and strong material for wave protection sheathing for platform risers and steel pylon legs.
Down hole equipment like hangers uses INCOLOY® alloy 718 for its high strength and corrosion resistance whilst a newer alloy INCONEL® alloy 725 offers still greater corrosion resistance.
INCONEL® alloy 625® is used in many applications such as high pressure tube and shell heat exchangers for offshore platforms, piping systems and subsea banding strip.
Technological updates
We have a huge knowledge bank for marine alloy applications and extensive resources from which to provide updates on technological developments.
